Dennis Schick and Associates has over 35 years experience as a Professional Structural Engineer working in both new construction and renovation of concrete parking structures and other concrete structures. Dennis has observed many existing problems while maintaining the old school approach to ensuring the quality of service required of a design professional. He has designed office buildings, parking garages and multiple structures in such states as Alabama, Arizona, California, North and South Carolina, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kanasas, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming and can identify the construction practices and limitations in each region.

Dennis also developed stair framing systems that allow for horizontal movement and has modified expansion joint details and other details that allow garages to move more freely, since all post tensioned concrete and prestressed concrete decks experience horizontal movements due to creep, shrinkage and parking garages also experience temperature variations.
