Dennis served as a Construction Manager representing the local parish, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, in building this new church. The project began in May, 2008 and was completed in August, 2009. As the construction manager, I not only reminded the contractor of his scheduling requirements but also helped in checking shop drawings and contract drawings in an effort to address the problems inherent in both. It was obvious in the construction process that construction managers are more necessary these days in completion of the building in an effort to hold down the change orders that result from lack of communication between the design professionals and the contractors. This project was successfully completed and included all of the items that the parishoners requested.
